The Story of a Mommy & Photographer
This is Our Story
Vee Marie Photography, has all been inspired by my son. Being a new mom has really made me happy in so many ways. For a long time I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, other than the fact of having a family of my own. I'm a proud mom. Every moment has been amazing. Of course why wouldn't it, its the most beautiful experience for a mother to have. It's a beautiful gift from god, for any Mother or Father .
My photography business started specializing in Newborn & Toddler Photography, I give all the credit to my sweet baby boy. Photographing all his precious moments has brought extreme joy to me, something I can't resist. I'm sure like any mother feels when there holding there beautiful little bundle of joy.
Today we did a little Mommy & Me Session, for congratulating and sharing the excitement that he just turned 6months. Man time just flies so fast. I swear I just had to capture each and every moment with him, from the beginning to end, too make all these moments last forever.
My baby's name is Luka, 6 months and so sweet. I got the idea of my Mommy & Me Sessions the first month I had my son. Honestly, I didn't even want family pictures yet. I just wanted my moments with my baby boy too last forever. The baby bonding time definitely stuck with me for the whole first few months. It was love at first sight. A very emotional & beautiful time.
I share my story with you to start a group of moms. To share the beauty of how much love can one person bring when they hold there precious little bundle. To bring the community together and relate to our daily work life and being a mom. It's true hard work and Luka is my reason I work hard. Staying up late and getting things done while he is asleep, he is my little motivator and coffee is my life. Down below are photos taken of me and my baby, our first mommy & me session. Which was taken by my wonderful cousin, whom did a mighty wonderful job by the way.
We have come a long way on growing and laughing and learning from each other. He teaches me to be a better mother everyday. To work hard and never give up, to be believe in yourself and to have respect. Whats funny is I wasn't the greatest kid growing up but life changed of course. We all learn and grow share experience's and laugh about it years to come. As mothers we learn from our own mother's, on how they raised us & we learn from experiences and choices so we can be the best mother and woman that we can be. We are powerful in every way and being a mother teaches you those things. Luka will forever teach me new things. I'm absolutely sure of it. His little soul is so divine and precious.
Funny Story, his father was playing with his little toes and kept grabbing at them like a shark bite with his hand. He took that little hand of his and started learning to say Hi & Bye. Of course imitating his fathers shark bite movement. When you ask him to do it he gets shy. I say at 6months not bad. We were having trouble doing the solids but he is loving his sweet potatoes home cooked, boiled & blended. Best way to start, other than the fact of Rice Cereal in a bottle with the formula. It's a beautiful adventure thats for sure but we are loving every minute of it.
